I don't think I could pick out just one favorite Christmas memory. Its mixture of when all the 14 Christmas's I shared with my Grandpa. It was tradition that every year Dad, Mom, Josh, Grandma, Grandpa, and I would get together in the early afternoon for lunch/dinner. Afterwards we would all get ready for my Christmas Eve program at my church. After that was over we would rush home to open presents. I would always run to my room and get my pj's on. I'd be all ready by the time the rest of them would finally be getting in the door. After they got situated all of us would sit in my living room and open gifts. Once that was done, we would always have a snack that consisted of pickled hering (my grandpa's favorite) and other treats. I don't think any Christmas will ever come close to being better than the ones I have shared with my grandpa.

The Last Song page one
Ronnie, a teenage girl, is being forced to stay with her father for the whole summer. Lets just say she isn't exactly thrilled about it. If my parents were divorced I think it'd be harder for me to stay with my mom. Out of her and my dad we fight the most and I think if it was just her and me it would be very stressful. I'm just happy and thankful they're still together. I don't know what I'd do without either of them.

Dear John-Chap 20
The next morning John went to Savannah's expecting to see her and Tim standing outside. That wasn't the case and he only saw Savannah. When he got out of the car she asked John if he was ready to go, John had no idea what was going on. I don't blame him! While they were driving Savannah finally told John they were going to the hospital. How strange. When they got to the hospital and went into a room that when John saw it. Tim in the hospital bed. John didn't know what to think or what to say. I think it was unfair of Savannah to not tell John what was going on. They spoke for awhile and then finally Savannah said it was time for them to go. They went back to Savannah's to eat and talk. They began talking and alot of old feelings came up. They kissed, but that didn't end well. John hated himself for what he did and left without even saying goodbye. The next morning he went to go visit Tim. That was where Tim said if anything happened to him, John had permission to marry Savannah. This actually made John think that he didn't want anything to happen to Tim, even if that meant not being with Savannah. When he was leaving Savannah was by his car. She was upset. She asked if John and herself could still be friends and talk, but John thought it would be best if they weren't. John left then. It really should how much he loved Savannah when he called up a old coin seller and said he wanted to sell all the coins. That is except the one that he helped his dad find. All the money went to Tim's charity so he could get a shot that would help him. A year later John went to the ranch, didn't stop just stood and looked at it. He found Tim, Savannah, and Allan all together. Then a full moon came out and to John's surprise so did Savannah.

Dear John-Chap 19
Savannah fully tells John who and how she fell in love with someone else. Savannah's husband is none other than Tim. This took John way off guard, and he didn't know what to think. I know I would do the same. Just having someone who you thought was your friend go and take fall in love with your girlfriend. Savannah said it didn't even happen from dating it just happened. They were together alot and then in just happened. When John was about to leave thinking that this would be the last time he would ever see the love of his life, Savannah takes her off guard and asks for him to come back the next day.

Dear John-pgs 214-222
When the dog left that's when Savannah came out. When she finally saw that John was standing there, she went into shock. It took awhile before she came running to him to give John a hug. They made small talk for awhile tell Savannah asked if he would like to help her with the horses. It turned out that Savannah got what she wanted with the ranch for atheistic kids. Savannah admitted that its nothing she expected and a lot harder than she could ever imagine. In that time John noticed a ring on Savannah's finger she then admitted that she's married. When John thought he'd be asked to leave Savannah invited him for dinner. I think that would be the most awkward thing in the world. Going to your ex's house that you still had feelings for, and you knew that they were love with someone else. Then later find out they're married. Wow.

Dear John pg213
On John's way out to Savannah he had no idea what to think so he but his mind at blank. I'd do the same. You'd have so many emotions and feelings going threw your mind. When John got to the farm and went to the door no one answered, but then a dog came and led him to a barn.
Dear John pg 212
When John got into Lenior he had no idea where to go so he decided to go to bar and find out where Savannah lived. It makes sense if I was in the need to find someone that important to me I'd do the same. He talked with the bartendera and eased into a conversation. Soon he brought out the picture of her and asked where she lived. He was hesitant at first but ended up telling John.

Dear John-pgs 210-211
John tried to sleep that night, but it nearly impossible. The next morning he found himself getting everything you wanted from the house putting it in his dad's car and then called the lawyer and said that he could sell the house and do whatever to the stuff that was still in it. That'd would be the easiest thing to do I think, just getting rid of everything because that house was all John's father and with that brought memories. Once he got that taken care of John went to Raleigh. He knew Savannah would still be there.
