Maci is now fully into what sounds like house arrest. All she does is work, yoga, and studying. Like any teenager, she hates every single minute of it. The day she later thought would be one of the best days of her summer, when she finally heard from Jason. But it was different and she really didn't care to much about what he had to say. Just kept thinking about Wes. They talked alittle on the phone, but they never got into the deep conversations they normally got into. It's safe to say they missed each other. Maci diobeyed the rules one night to go see Wes. They met at a parking lot but it didn't end well. Maci left without saying goodbye because Wes seemed distanced. She later realized she didn't want to end it like that and went to The Waffle House. There she found him, but not alone, with Becky. Maci right there knew that what happened between them was gone.
