I don't think I could pick out just one favorite Christmas memory. Its mixture of when all the 14 Christmas's I shared with my Grandpa. It was tradition that every year Dad, Mom, Josh, Grandma, Grandpa, and I would get together in the early afternoon for lunch/dinner. Afterwards we would all get ready for my Christmas Eve program at my church. After that was over we would rush home to open presents. I would always run to my room and get my pj's on. I'd be all ready by the time the rest of them would finally be getting in the door. After they got situated all of us would sit in my living room and open gifts. Once that was done, we would always have a snack that consisted of pickled hering (my grandpa's favorite) and other treats. I don't think any Christmas will ever come close to being better than the ones I have shared with my grandpa.

The Last Song page one
Ronnie, a teenage girl, is being forced to stay with her father for the whole summer. Lets just say she isn't exactly thrilled about it. If my parents were divorced I think it'd be harder for me to stay with my mom. Out of her and my dad we fight the most and I think if it was just her and me it would be very stressful. I'm just happy and thankful they're still together. I don't know what I'd do without either of them.

Dear John-Chap 20
The next morning John went to Savannah's expecting to see her and Tim standing outside. That wasn't the case and he only saw Savannah. When he got out of the car she asked John if he was ready to go, John had no idea what was going on. I don't blame him! While they were driving Savannah finally told John they were going to the hospital. How strange. When they got to the hospital and went into a room that when John saw it. Tim in the hospital bed. John didn't know what to think or what to say. I think it was unfair of Savannah to not tell John what was going on. They spoke for awhile and then finally Savannah said it was time for them to go. They went back to Savannah's to eat and talk. They began talking and alot of old feelings came up. They kissed, but that didn't end well. John hated himself for what he did and left without even saying goodbye. The next morning he went to go visit Tim. That was where Tim said if anything happened to him, John had permission to marry Savannah. This actually made John think that he didn't want anything to happen to Tim, even if that meant not being with Savannah. When he was leaving Savannah was by his car. She was upset. She asked if John and herself could still be friends and talk, but John thought it would be best if they weren't. John left then. It really should how much he loved Savannah when he called up a old coin seller and said he wanted to sell all the coins. That is except the one that he helped his dad find. All the money went to Tim's charity so he could get a shot that would help him. A year later John went to the ranch, didn't stop just stood and looked at it. He found Tim, Savannah, and Allan all together. Then a full moon came out and to John's surprise so did Savannah.

Dear John-Chap 19
Savannah fully tells John who and how she fell in love with someone else. Savannah's husband is none other than Tim. This took John way off guard, and he didn't know what to think. I know I would do the same. Just having someone who you thought was your friend go and take fall in love with your girlfriend. Savannah said it didn't even happen from dating it just happened. They were together alot and then in just happened. When John was about to leave thinking that this would be the last time he would ever see the love of his life, Savannah takes her off guard and asks for him to come back the next day.

Dear John-pgs 214-222
When the dog left that's when Savannah came out. When she finally saw that John was standing there, she went into shock. It took awhile before she came running to him to give John a hug. They made small talk for awhile tell Savannah asked if he would like to help her with the horses. It turned out that Savannah got what she wanted with the ranch for atheistic kids. Savannah admitted that its nothing she expected and a lot harder than she could ever imagine. In that time John noticed a ring on Savannah's finger she then admitted that she's married. When John thought he'd be asked to leave Savannah invited him for dinner. I think that would be the most awkward thing in the world. Going to your ex's house that you still had feelings for, and you knew that they were love with someone else. Then later find out they're married. Wow.

Dear John pg213
On John's way out to Savannah he had no idea what to think so he but his mind at blank. I'd do the same. You'd have so many emotions and feelings going threw your mind. When John got to the farm and went to the door no one answered, but then a dog came and led him to a barn.
Dear John pg 212
When John got into Lenior he had no idea where to go so he decided to go to bar and find out where Savannah lived. It makes sense if I was in the need to find someone that important to me I'd do the same. He talked with the bartendera and eased into a conversation. Soon he brought out the picture of her and asked where she lived. He was hesitant at first but ended up telling John.

Dear John-pgs 210-211
John tried to sleep that night, but it nearly impossible. The next morning he found himself getting everything you wanted from the house putting it in his dad's car and then called the lawyer and said that he could sell the house and do whatever to the stuff that was still in it. That'd would be the easiest thing to do I think, just getting rid of everything because that house was all John's father and with that brought memories. Once he got that taken care of John went to Raleigh. He knew Savannah would still be there.

Dear John-Chap 17
John's dad sadly died 7 weeks after John left. John received leave for the funeral and to get things in order. A lawyer came and told John that the funeral was prepaid for and that everything was his. Every single coin was now in John's pocession. Before John left on his last leave, his father gave John a map and shovel and when John went to go see what it was he found every coin. The lawyer gave John lots of papers and when John looked them over he found the only picture he ever took with his father. John cried. I know I would, that tough to loose someone who means so much to them. After the funeral one of John's ex girlfriends came to talk to him. She made John realize how much he was still in love with Savannah.
Dear John- Chapter 16
John couldn't say that recieving that letter didn't change him at all. He began to not care about really anything at all and was always angry about something. I can't say that I blamed him. He was in love with her and she just threw it away like it meant nothing. Once John's term ended he decided to once again reup, since he really had no reason to leave. The only thing that John really still cared about was his father, but sadly his health was declining. He suffered another heart attack that led to many other problems. I can't even imagine what it'd fell like to know that your father is dying but you can't be by his side. When John returned home he found his dad to be very weak and even though a neighbor said she'd keep up the house, it was so dirty. John was upset with the neighbor, tell he spoke with her and found out she's been doing as much she possibly could. That was when John knew even though it would kill his father even faster, he needed to go to a care facility. And when John left to go back to Germany that was the last time he ever saw him alive.

Dear John- pg 186-187
When John got back from the fight he had 6 letters from his father, but only one from Savannah. That right there is definatly a bad sign. In the letter it explained how she has fallen in love with someone else. She also explained how much she really does love John and cares deeply for him, but the time they have spent apart has really put a dent in there relationship.

Dear John pg 184-185
With the happenings of 9/11 it was inevetable that there was going to be a war. John and the rest of the soldiers were prepared for anything that might break loose. Learning the maps of the areas they would have to be on and learn how to use some new equipment. Then it came the day when they attacked Samawah where John had his first look at what real combat was like. I could never join the army, just the thought of killing another human being. I couldn't do it. After that fight was done no one in John's group got killed which is a good thing, they all were just extremely worked up about what had just happened. I know I'd be the one shaking like no other probably some tears coming. After that they began to had back to where they came from.

Dear John pg 182-183
It is getting clearer and clearer that Savannah and John are drifting apart. You could really see that when John said he would be home in less than a year and Savannah said nothing but I've heard that before. John was now in Turkey and ways of communication was nearly impossible.

Dear John-pages 180-181
When it was time for John to go back to where he was stationed his father was back at home and plans were made for someone to help his father. Savannah went to the airport with John again, but there wasn't as many tears as before. John knew their relationship was not good. As the summer went on John's father began getting his strength back and Savannah and his relationship stayed the same. John decided to call his father on Tuesdays and Fridays now just to talk. He continued to call Savannah, but when she didn't answer, which meant she wasn't home, John grew angrier.
Dear John- pages 178-179
When John's leave came, fate went againt John Savannah. It came that John's father had a heart attack, so instead of going to spend the 2 weeks with Savannah, it was spent in a hospital. Savannah made it back as much as she could, but with classes it was hard. When they were together they found themselves getting into fights, and weakening their relationship. It did strengthen John and his fathers. John would read stuff about coins and he's father would just smile.
Dear John pages 176-177
Even though John wanted nothing more than to be with Savannah and not reenlisting, but after September 11th everything changed. John signed up for two more years in the army. I applaud him for doing that, he could of taken the easy way out and just said he didn't want to, but he did what was best for his counry. After that when Savannah wrote John things were different. She told John she was proud of him for reenlisting, but it showed later how much she really hated it.

Dear John-Chapter 14
John and Savannah spent the remaining days inseperable. Well other than when Savananh was in classes. They went to see John's dad during the weekend to find he had so much to say about coins. Then they returned for their final week together. When it was time to go Savannah cried but said she'd be stronger this time, and John foced himself to believe it. It was only six months this time they'd be seperated and they knew the hard part was behind them. The time they'd see each other grew smaller and John knew nothing would stand in their way. That is tell September 11, 2001 happened.

Dear John-Chapter 13
The year is finally up and he and Savannah have 2 whole weeks together. All of Johns fears on how it would be when they first saw each other melted away when he saw her running towards him once he got off the terminal. They stayed standing there for awhile and when they finally left they made there way to Savannah's parents house, they were staying there for the weekend. After the weekend was over John and Savannah went to Savannah's apartment because she had school. The week didn't go as smoothly as they would like. Savannah was doing alot of stuff with her friends and was bring John along. John didn't like this, that they never had any time alone. It came through one day and they got in a huge fight about. The conclusion was that Savannah made such a busy schedule for them so it wasn't as hard when he left. I get that, I think if I was in her shoes I'd do the same. Just protecting yourself. In the end they made love, but John was worried it was a act of desperation, that it was the only thing they had to remember.

Dear John-Chapter 12
John and Savannah now had to get used to being seperated. It got easier as the time went on, but it was still hard. It'd be weird if it wasn't, loving someone that much a nd when they're gone you don't miss them would be unheard of. They wrote, emailed, and around Christmas John surprised her with a call. When the time came closer for John to come home he began to get nervous, not knowing what to expect. In the time they were apart Savannah graduated and is now taking summer classes.

Dear John-Chapter 11
John placed a note on Tim's car for Savannah asking her to meet him at the pier. He placed it there because he knew that it was the only place she would sure get it. John was worried that Savannah would be so mad she wouldn't show. I know I'd be mad if my best friend nose got broke by the person I love. John quickly started apologizing for what all happened. Savannah soon said that it's not necessary, that she brought it on. After this it was clear the only had one more day together. So the next day they made the most of it. They talked about how they were going to miss each other terrribly, but they would write, email, and when ever possible talk on the phone. When it came down to saying goodbye there were tears. I can't even imagine, it'd be so hard. Savannah gave John a letter, but she said he couldn't open it tell he was on the plain. He obeyed her wishes. He spent the night spending time with his father and then he took him to the airport. When the plain was in the air John opened the letter to find a picture of Savannah and a long message. It explained how much he meant to her and how she will marry him someday.

Dear John-Chapter 10
After everything that just went on John was furious, both at himself and at Savannah. I don't blame him, I think if someone would say something like that to me I'd freak out. John drove around for along time trying to get his composure. When he woke up the next day he found himself looking at his father differently thinking that maybe Savannah was actually right. When his dad left at exactly the same time as he always does there was a knock on the door. To Johns surprise it was Tim bandaged and bruised from John breaking his nose. John apologized for that many times. He felt so bad. I would to, defiantly if it was a accident. Tim told John that he needs to really think about forgiving Savannah, even though she was in the wrong, she really just wanted to help. John knew this. Tim brought John the book Savannah gave him and after he left he read it. After this John knew there was a chance he had it. It didn't matter to him, he was still the man who raised him. And after supper John did something he never thought he would and asked his dad to show him the new coins.

Dear John-Chapter 9
Savannah and John have now been seeing each other alot more than they were before since they were pretty much a couple. Savannah came to John's house to visit with his dad a couple times. The first time nothing was said about coins, but then the second time they were in the den looking at coins and Savannah was just listening to what was being said. One night John came to get Savannah and she was no where to be found. After awhile of looking for her John found her crying. When John asked why she said she realized how things won't be the same in a few days when John leaves. John finds himself being able to calm her down, but when Savannah does something I didn't even expect John's the one freaking out. She gave John a book on Aspergers. John didn't get it at first, but then when Savannah said she thinks his dad has it John freaks! He ends up hitting three people and one of them being Tim.

Dear John-Chapter 8
Savannah and John talked in the rain without even noticing it was raining. I can handle rain and even thunder and lightign, but when you get the possibiliy of a tornado in there I freak. What they talked about was alot deeper than they've ever talked before. Savannah asked John if he was ever in love. He replied with that he thought he was, but never had the full want for her. When John asked Savannah the same question things changed quickly and got serious. Savannah explained things that happened her freshmen year. She had a boyfriend who was older than her. He was popular and all the girls loved him. Savannah was warneed himd that he was just a player, but she didn't listen. That is tell something bad happened. He took her to a party and got her a pop, but when she was done drinking it she got woozy and didn't feel very good. He took her to a room and after a bit he was on her and ripping the cloths on her. He would of gone all the way if someone didn't come into the room. What a jerk! This upset John alot, and he said that he would beat him up if Savannah wanted him to. After this John told Savannah he loved her, and it took awhile but she said it back. And they began kissing.

Dear John-Chapter 7
After Savannah and John were done eating there cheese burgers on the beach Savannah wanted to show John the house they were working on. That wouldn't be any fun, all your doing is looking at the outter part of house. While they were sitting there a thunderstorm came. Surprisingly Savannah said to just stay cause she loves them. Complete opposite of me, I hate thunderstorms.

Dear John-Chapter 6
When John left to go get Savannah for his date he didn't really expect coming right back home with Savannah, but that's what happened. John found Savannah at the beach talking with some people and when he asked her what she wanted to do he was taken by surprise when she said go see your father. When they finally got to the house and made the introductions it was a little awkward because of course Mr. Tyree didn't talk, that is tell Savannah asked him about coins. It's amazing how much someone can talk about something they really love. They stood in Mr. Tyree's den looking and listening about coins.

Dear John-Chapter 5
The next morning John tried to make a attempt with his father. Waking up earlier than normal to help his dad with breakfast. As usual it didn't help, his dad barely said anything just replying to yes or no. I think that would be hard, I know he probably is used to it since his dad has been this way all his life but just not being able to have a conversation with the person your living with would just suck. John tries to get his mind off Savannah by surfing, but that doesn't work either. On John's way home he decides to stop and get supper. Steaks with potatoes and sald. He thinks it'd be nice to give his dad a break. But when they come to the table, they once again eat in silence.

Dear John-Chapter 4
When John got home and began getting ready for his date with Savannah he started feeling bad that he really has not made much time for his dad. I think that would get to me. I'm really close to my dad, so when I am really busy and don't have much time to talk to him, that gets to me. John made a promise to himself that this would change before he left. John decided to take Savannah the Shrimp Shack. It's a place that not everyone knows about, just the ones who have lived there for awhile and weren't just visitors. I would hate to go there, sea foods is the worst thing ever! When they got there they did what they usually do and that's talk, it seems like they can talk forever. Savannah told John the reason why she's going to school for Special Education. There was a kid that was born with a problem and Tim, a very old friend, used horses to help get to him. Now I would hate this because horses are just not my favorite at all. The special education is good, that's what I wanted to go to school for, but now it's just a elementary teacher. The date ended with another date planned for that Tuesday and Savannah kissing John on the cheek. And he loved that part!

Dear John- Chapter 3
The next morning they did just as promised and went surfing. To John's surprise Savannah was amazing. Her first time riding a wave, she didn't do as most people do and fall off right away. She rode the wave all the way to the shore. That would not be me, I'd fall right to my face. After a few hours of surfing they went in because Savannah needed to get ready for church. She invited John to come along and he was very hesitant about it, but ended up going anyways. John and Savannah have this deep connection and it's only their second day together. There's this thing about Savannah that makes John tell the truth, so when she asks him about his younger years to his surprise he doesn't lie and just tells it how it is. Even though he sounds like a complete jerk. Everyone has that in their younger days. Savannah doesn't care and just says he's changed now so it's ok. The two of them have a planned date where John is going to show Savannah the things in Wilmington she wouldn't even expect.

Dear John-Chapter 2
John quickly retrieves the girls purse and she is extremely thankful for him getting it. After this John finds out that her name is Savannah. He doesn't know what it is about her, but whatever it is just draws him in. Savannah insist that John come up to the house to eat and they can talk a bit more. John finds out that Savannah will be there for a month helping build houses for Habitat for Humanity. They talk for along time until John finally says he better get home. They make plans to go surfing the next day.

Dear John-Chapter 1
Well I have a new book again, and I think this might be one I'll actually stick with. John Tyree has grown up in the same house with all the same routines in the town of Wilmington, North Carolina. It is a very high town for tourists, since there are so many beaches around it. That'd be a good place for me to live, I love to swim. While growing up it was just him and his dad. Even though John and his father didn't have to best relationship John didn't want to disappoint him. John's dad had a love for collecting coins and this is what John and him mostly talked about. That's why when John blew up on him one day for that being all he talked about they didn't have much to say to each other. After a few years after John graduated he realized he didn't want to disappoint his father anymore so he decided to join the army. On leave once when he was out on the beach surfng he met this girl. He knew there was something special about her, and thats why when her bag was shoved into the ocean he jumped in to get it.

Just Listen
The book starts off with Annabel, the main character, about ready to go through the beginnings of the first day of school. You would think this would no big deal just another first day, she's done it many times before. That was back when she still had a best friend and she wasn't the star of a commercial that was being every where she looked. What ended this friendship you may be wondering? Well I honestly don't know, it hasn't gotten to it yet. It must be bad though, because when Annabel got out of the car to go into the school she ran into her and was called a bad name. She felt lost and didn't know what to do. I know how that feels, to lose a best friend. You don't really think it would really be that hard tell it actually happens. You feel alone and don't know where to turn. You have to move on find a new and possible better best friend. That's what happened to me when me and Lynn started to be such good friends. :)

Sugar and Spice- Chapter 4
Jane was late to work, and she was going to be even more late because it was her day to be filmed so they had to tape her up with a microphone. She was nervous as ever, definaltly when Hannah, a friend of Janes who works with her, told her that Fiona wanted to see her in her office. After the camera's were ready she walked into the office not only to find the cameras and Fiona, but also Madison. I would freak out. Fiona got right down to it telling Jane that there will be a new activity she will be doing and Madison will helping her. WOW! Jane is shocked. I wouldn't blame her. She pulled Trevor Lord out of the office and shouted at him for setting this up. He said that it wasn't even his idea that it was Fiona's. Jane doesn't believe him and I don't think I would either. I mean earlier he told Madison he had big plans for her this season. He seems like a jerk!

The Truth About Forever- Chapter 3
Scarlett didn't really car about the show as much as the other girls. Sounds like how I would be. She watched the show, but not with the same excitment and reasonings. Her reason was to see how much the edited her to make her seem like a no opinioned girl. She hoped this would change since in the Season 2 contract it was put in that there would be less editing. Scarlett's love life was not as complicated as Jane's but it still was. She fell in love with the camera man of L.A. Candy. When this got out he was fired and he couldn't be filmed with her. So this took alot of air time away from Scarlett. The truth is she really didn't care. Neither would I!

Sugar and Spice-Chapter 2
At the premiere party it's nothing out of the normal for the four girls. Posing for the cameras in their expensive dresses and shoes, having the best people do their hair and make-up, and being asked the same question 20 times. Who wouldn't want to have that life? Well I'm one who would hate that! Madison is mostly asked about her friendship with Jane and what happened. Her response is something that makes her look innocent with the words "I don't know what happened we used to be best friends," even though that's not the truth. I hate girls like that. Madison gets the news she's been dying for from Trevor Lord, the producer, saying they are going to start a new thing with her that will give her alot more air time. During this she is getting random texts from "0" saying they know who she really is. FREAKY!

Sugar And Spice-Chapter1
Jane, Scarlett, Gaby, and Madison are all getting ready for there second premier of their hit relality show L.A. Candy. Well since this isn't the first book in the series, I read the first two in Tripp, I'll sum the first books up. Jane and Scarlett are best friends who traveled from the Santa Barbra to the big city of L.A. Thats something I would love to do, but I don't think I'd have the guts. Anyways, Scarlett is going to school at USC and Jane is working for a big time event planner. One night the two of them go to a club and they find themselves a producer who wants them to be a part of the show. They except. I wouldn't like to be on a reality show, just knowing everyone knows everything I'm doing freaks me out. The show is called L.A. Candy and with this they meet two new girls, Gaby and Madison. When the show comes out Jane is a instant favorite, people say they can relate to her. She finds herself a friend who's name is r Braden, which she really likes, but he sort of has a girlfriend. So at a party of his she runs into his best friend Jesse, and they soon begin to date. Madison is very jealous of Jane, so she schemes to get photos of Jane and Braden hooking up and then pretends shes still Janes best friend. This ruins Scarlett and Janes friendship tell Scarlett can prove to Jane that Madison did do this evil thing. Thats the basic stuff in the first 2 books. In the last book of the series Jane says shes going to swear off all guys. Thats kind of hard to do though when her ex boyfriend from home is in town and she still knows she has feeling for Braden. Jane also hates Madison with a passion and will not agree to work with her in any scenes.

The Truth About Forever-Chap21-22
When the party starts to slow down, everyttalhing changes for Maci. Jason shows up and wants to talk to her. I'd slap this guy. Maci thinks it's the stupidest thing ever. While he keeps rambaling on she looks in the window to find Wes there, but he's leaving. Suddenly she realizes this might be her last chance to tell him what she really feels. So out of no where in Jason's eyes she starts running after Wes just leaving Jason behind. Hahaha, I'd do the same. Once she reaches Wes she kisses him. After that day so many things have changed. Maci and her mother actually have a relationship.

The Truth About Forever-Chap20
The party is going way better than it was planned to go. Much better than I honestly thought it would be when all the madness came. All the people are happy and having a good time. Some people even say that it is one of best parties they have ever been to. This is good, because it takes alot of pressure off of Maci's mother and that makes it alot easier on Maci. I know what she means by that, I hate when my mother is stressed, she was like that the whole first half of summer. This is because that's when they decided I could come to school in Armour. Maci couldn't help herself, her mind just kept running back to Wes. She knew he would be coming her anytime asking if they needed any help and she couldn't wait for this. But on the bad side, so was Jason. And Maci is not excited to see him. I wouldn't want to either he sounds like a controlling jerk!

The Truth About Forever-Chapter19
Caroline wouldn’t talk to her mother for a full week. That’s why Maci and her mom were so surprised when she showed up in the front yard unloading angels from a truck. These angels were Wes’s every single one of them was just amazing. It hurt Maci a little more and more every time she looked at one. She missed Wes so much. After many people drove by saying it was such a great idea to put the angels out for the party, Caroline decided it was ok for her mom to use them and for herself to stay another night to help. That next morning Maci awoke to wind going crazy outside. And when she looked out the window Wes was in her driveway. She ran outside to talk to him. The conversation didn’t end well. Maci didn’t let Wes talk much. Just kept going on how everything is the way it should be. Him back with Becky and her with Jason. When Wes asked her if that’s the way she wanted it and Maci replied with a yes even though that wasn’t true. Wes left right after that furious. It was more and more apparent that the party wouldn’t be held outside. Not with the wind and then soon the rain. So they began to get the house ready moving furniture around to make room.

The Truth About Forever-Chapter18
Maci was extremely worried about her mother. She had been working longer hours and not sleeping or eating at all. All she was concerned about was that everything at the big party she was throwing for her business ran smoothly. This came apparent one day when Caroline showed up. Caroline was so happy, the house at the beach was finally finished. She wanted Maci and their mom to stay at it that night with her. Of course their mother refused saying there was just too much work. This stung a bit to Caroline, but she thought they were still spending a whole week there in August. That was until her mother crushed that idea to. The reason was it was the day after the huge party and that’s when she’d be the busiest. Caroline was above furious! When Maci’s mother got home later that night, Maci was shocked when she came in and asked for Delia’s number. She needed a caterer. To Maci’s surprise, Delia said yes.

The Truth About Forever-Chapter17
Maci is now fully into what sounds like house arrest. All she does is work, yoga, and studying. Like any teenager, she hates every single minute of it. The day she later thought would be one of the best days of her summer, when she finally heard from Jason. But it was different and she really didn't care to much about what he had to say. Just kept thinking about Wes. They talked alittle on the phone, but they never got into the deep conversations they normally got into. It's safe to say they missed each other. Maci diobeyed the rules one night to go see Wes. They met at a parking lot but it didn't end well. Maci left without saying goodbye because Wes seemed distanced. She later realized she didn't want to end it like that and went to The Waffle House. There she found him, but not alone, with Becky. Maci right there knew that what happened between them was gone.

The Truth About Forever-Chapter16
Going to the hospital in the ambulance, because Delila's water broke, brought back so many terrifying memories Maci had when her dad died of the heartattack and she had to be in the ambulance. Wes was worried about her, constantly asking if she was ok. All this happened at a terrible time, because Maci was supposed to meet her mom at a party at 6, and the time was just flying by. Everything changed though when Maci saw Delila's baby Avery. She was happy, but she ran out of the room to cry saying she needed to call her mom. A little while later Wes comes looking for her, he asks one more time if she was ok, and she couldn't hold back the tears anymore. She ran to him and just cried. After she calmed down Maci started to worry that it was to much and she scared him off, but it doesn't seem that way. Once they said there goodbyes Maci went to the party to find her mother furious with her. When they got home she layed it on her with so many rules. Maci had to quit her job and work with her, she could no longer see her friends, and she must be in by 8. Maci hated this!

The Truth About Forever-Chapter 15
Wes was so impressed on how Maci quit he kept bringing it up. Maci didn't think it was that awesome. All she could think of was how mad her mother and Jason would be when they found out. The catering team is getting more and more organized as the days go on. Finding that they had extra room in the van, which never happens! It was so organized that Delia found herself wishing they had at least alittle bit of chaos. She found it when her water broke right in front of the very happy customer.

The Truth About Forever-Chapter 14
The next morning Maci found her mother to be in a terrible mood from what happened the night before. Maci tried to take to her mother about her father during the ride to work, but Maci's mother just wouldn't let that happen and pushed the idea of it way aside. Once Maci got to work she became nervous knowing she'd see Jason and she would tell him that it's over. But that's not how it happened. Wes showed up asking if Maci could get out of the library job to help them get ready for a party tonight. Her coworkers wouldn't let that happen, so Maci quit in dramatic fashion. Jumping of the counter of the office, and replying "good" when her coworkers said "if you leave don't come back!" All of this shocked Wes.

The Truth About Forever-Chapter 13
The house by the ocean is coming along, and it's almost done. Caroline says it should completed even before they go and spend the week down there. One night after a party that Wish hosted, Maci did something she thought she never would. She invited the whole crew to come in and watch something Bert really wanted to see. She did this mostly because she thought her mother was gone on business for the night. After awhile Maci learned that this wasn't the case when she found her mother standing in the hallway looking right at them with a shocked look on her face. Maci could tell that she really wasn't that happy about this because she said that after the show is over they have to leave. It got even worse when Maci's mother walked in on Maci and Wes talking about when Wes was in jail. After this she pulled her aside again and freaked out saying she doesn't want Maci hanging out with them outside of work. She ended it by saying really loud that Jason was coming home for the weekend.

The Truth About Forever-Chapter 10
Caroline had been working so hard so that when they go to the house by the beach it would look perfect. And the date was set to go on August 8th. Only a few days after Jason gets back. On to a knew subjuct, actually my favorite in the book Wes and Maci. They've become friends now. Ever since the van ran out of gas and they played the game Truth. And they are still playing the game. Whenever they're by each other. Mostly alone they play it. Maci noticed whenever they went to one of the parties Kristy just made them go to, she'd always find herself off to the side talking with Wes. This is where she found out they had even more in common, Wes was on a break also with a girl who was in jail for pot.

My Colony
With being in charge of a whole colonly it's a very stressful label on your shoulders. I think I could handle it, but there is the possibility that I would buckle under pressure. I would be in charge of making sure that everything runs smoothly. I would have to make sure everyone has enough to eat, drink, set up some sort of law so it's not choatic, have someone running those laws to make sure that they are being done, and finally to make sure that everyone is at least kind of happy and not depressed. It is a hard thing to be in charge of someone's life. All of my fallowers lifes pretty much would rest on my shoulders. If someone would die, I think I would blame myself, because I would always question myself on what I could have done differently. So now that I'm thinking about it, I don't think I would be the best one to be in charge of my own colony. I do better when I'm told what to do and not have to be the one telling others what to do.It's just to much pressure.
The Truth About Forever-Chapter 7
After Maci agress to go out with Kristy and the rest of the gang, Kristy makes sure that Maci looks great. She puts Maci in cloths she never in her life would she ever think about putting on by her own free will. She always does her hair curly, nothing like it's ever been before. Maci gets nervous and tries to leave, but Kristy gets her to stay. At the party it's not the scene Maci's used to because there is alchoal. Maci sees the affect of what can happen when someone's drunk, because one of the girls she used to run with comes to her and starts talking about her dad passing away. Maci hates this, because she likes how for once somebody she's with doesn't know what happened. To her surprise it doesn't make them think any differently of her. Later the girls start talking about Jason and how he's a total jerk to Maci and that she should just move on and forget about him. At the end of the book we start to see that Maci is starting to fall for Wes.

She goes into her house and up to her room to find Caroline laying on her bed. So later Maci, Caroline, and there mother go out to lunch to disguse the house out by the ocean. After this Delia calls and asks if she can come out and help her make sandwitches. Maci accepts. On her way out there she gets stuck in a huge hole and needs Wes to come out and help. After she gets out Wes tells her that the reason they don't fill it is because Delia thinks sometimes things just shouldn't be fixed. Wes definatly disagrees with this. While Maci and Delia are making the sandwitches they talk about Wes and Bert's mother and how it's hard with her being gone. During this Maci doesn't say anything about her dad.
