Julia continued spending time with her friends and her new acquaintance Guillaume. She didn't want to bring up the round up any more than she already had, but she was quickly surprised that Guillaume brought it up himself explaining that his Grandmother was apart of it and that she wouldn't talk about it anymore, but she had told him everything that he needed to know. I don't blame her, if I went threw something as tragic as that I don't think I could go and tell people what it was like every time they asked. Its just like opening a sore over and over again. Julia later went home and wanted to talk about the information she got with Bertrand that quickly didnt happen because Bertrand thought that this article was the biggest waste of time. That makes me mad, it's like he doesn't even care what the others of his country went threw. The next day Julia went to the site of the round up with Bamber who was going to take pictures of the place. They could barely get any pictures of it because they were building government offices where it was. They found a plaque saying what happened at the spot. At least they have something there to remember what happened to all those people! Afterwards they went to get coffee and they asked the waiter if he knew of anyone that could tell them what happened on that day someone who wasn't jewish who just saw what happened. To there amazement he knew someone.
What had been going on in the stadium was getting to Sarah, she felt ill and weak. A girl that is 10 years old had seen things that she shouldn't have seen at that age, that no one should see. The police told them one morning that they should get there stuff and come to the door. When Sarah saw that they were going to be getting on a train and leaving she freaked out. She knew that she would not be able to get her brother. She yelled at her dad first for not trying to run away and get him, then she yelled at him for not telling her what happened. After she was done she just cried! If something like that doesn't make you sad I don't know what will. To have a little girl going threw that questioning what she did wrong, seeing people laugh at her while she was being taken away from everything she only knew. That is something no one could ever guess what it feels like.
